Residential plant care

Plants in your home that thrive

From one struggling fiddle leaf to a whole house. Chosen for your light, set up properly, and looked after by the same person every time.

You almost certainly do not have a black thumb

Nearly every home visit we do ends the same way: the plant was never going to work in that spot, and nobody told the person who bought it. A plant sold as "low light" in a store under a glass roof full of daylight is not going to be happy eight feet back from a north window in a Denver winter.

So we start with your rooms. Which windows face where, what is blocking them, where the vents blow, and how much time you want to spend on this. Then we pick plants that fit that reality, and set them up so they are forgiving rather than fragile.

What homeowners hire us for

Six common calls

"I want the room to feel finished"

Design and install: a few well-scaled plants in pottery that matches the room, placed where they read from the doorway. Usually fewer, larger plants rather than many small ones.

Install labor $75/hr

"I do not have time to keep up"

Recurring maintenance at a fixed day and time. Watering to the meter, pruning, dusting, pest checks, and rotation, plus a written recap so you know what happened.

From $85 per visit

"We travel and things die"

Plant sitting while you are away, watered to the number each plant needs, not a neighbor's best guess. Short notice is usually workable.

From $40 per visit

"Something is wrong and I do not know what"

Diagnosis and treatment: pests, root rot, light problems, water quality, or the mystery brown edge. We will also say when a plant is not worth saving.

Consultation $65+

"These have outgrown their pots"

Repotting into the correct next size, in soil suited to the plant, in pottery that suits the room. Labor priced by pot size, pottery and soil quoted separately.

Labor from $10

"I inherited a collection"

A full walkthrough of what you have: what is healthy, what needs moving, what needs repotting, and a written care guide covering every plant, one by one.

Consultation $65+

What you keep afterwards

A care guide written for your plants, not a generic handout

Every visit ends with a written recap and a care guide covering your plants individually: a moisture-meter target number for each one, whether its spot works, and the specific early warning signs to watch for in this season.

The care does not walk out the door when we do, and you can check something instead of trying to remember it.
